If you are proposing to operate or hire out a Bouncy Castle you should be aware of the following:

•  The design of the bouncer your purchase should comply with the Health and     Safety Executive Guidance Note on the safe design, manufucture and use of     inflatable bouncers.
•  You should recieve advice from the manufucturer about how to operate the     equipment safely, and this advice should be backed up with written advice in the     form of a handbook.
•  You should recieve a certificate of Initial test. This states that the equipment has     been tested, that any defects found have been put right, and that the equipment     complies with the HSE Guidance Note.
•  You should recieve advice on how to maintain the equipment in the safe condition     and on the action you should take periodically to have the equipment inspected     and certified.
